Well it's the day we've all been waiting for...
Well maybe not all of us, but I know I have sure been expecting it.
The CIA has recently released hundreds of previously TOP SECRET UFO files.
It seems they caught the tiger by the tail and beat the new X-Files" fad by declassifying all these files, it's almost like they are trying to put some kind of shade over it.

The files include cases that range from the early 1940's to the mid 1950's and there are several first hand witness reports aswell as government officials reporting on the cases.
They have all been released and are able to be seen here.
This was a time that the CIA and Military were very interested in the investigation of UFO's and the United Stated Airforce accounted for over 12,000 sightings alone of random things they couldn't identify.
Its funny to think that they would release only the files from then, and if you do your research their were tens of thousands of reports in that time, it's funny that they only released a few hundred for us to see.
In looking at the front page of the CIA's official website, they have this littler snippet showing the files they beleive each agent from the tv show would like to "get their hands on".

It just makes it seem that much more strange that they would play into something like this, and leads you to beleive that it's just a promotion for the show.
Go check it out and snoop around as I'm sure you will find some interesting stuff, but take it all with a grain of salt.
I still think the real truth is out there... somewhere...
I will have to ask the lizard people haha!
