Spaceballs Sequel Finally Here!?

Spaceballs has been a cult classic for a number of years now, and though we have had a lot of Star Wars movies come out lately, we haven't seen or heard anything from Mel Brookes about a possible Spaceballs 2.

Spaceballs was loved by many for its witty humor and classic puns and will for ever be a quotable movie. But some people in the SB community don't like the idea of a sequal as it might not have the same punch to it as the original.

Either way, I love the idea of a new one. Me and my whole family have been watching it for years.

We shall see what happens!

There are already rumours out there from different sources saying that it is confirmed and that it is already in production, but I haven't been able to confirm this through any of the main veins into the matter.
